DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior Ben Prange returned to action in a big way to lead the Green Knights to a 4-0 win over Ripon College in a Midwest Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

Prange recorded a hat trick in his first start after missing extended time due to injury, moving St. Norbert to 13-4-2 overall and 6-1-1 in the MWC.

Prange scored the match's lone first-half goal on a penalty kick at the 12:21 mark.

With snow flurries falling throughout the second half, St. Norbert got a north wind at its back in the final 45 minutes and struck quickly to put the game out of reach. Domenic DeMaria cleaned up a loose ball in the box for his second goal of the year, finishing at 48:34 off assists from Max Censky and Prange. Prange then scored a strong goal at 53:10, converting on a first touch with a spinning finish off a Censky helper. Censky fed Prange for his last goal, converting for his fifth goal of the year at 59:11.

St. Norbert held a 21-5 shots advantage and held an 8-0 edge in corner kicks. Ben Holtzen made two saves in 54:32 of work, while Daniel Yurk made one stop in the final 35:28 for the Green Knights. Kenny Smith made six saves for the Red Hawks.
