DE PERE - In a high-powered two-game home-and-home non-conference series to open the season, UW-Stevens Point salvaged a split with a 3-1 win over St. Norbert College at Cornerstone Community Center.

The Green Knights, ranked No. 4 in the USCHO.com Division III Poll, took the series opener 3-2 in overtime Friday in Stevens Point. The Pointers are ranked No. 1 by USCHO.com.
