DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior goalkeeper Josh Koleske has been named to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Academic All-District VI team, presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Koleske, an Appleton native, holds a 4.00 grade point average as a biology major. This is Koleske's second CoSIDA Academic All-District honor, and he was also a second-team Academic All-America choice in 2018.

Koleske is currently 5-1-2 in 11 matches this season for the Green Knights, fashioning a 0.59 goals against average with two shutouts. St. Norbert's career leader in shutouts with 16, Koleske was a second-team All-Midwest Conference choice in 2016 and 2017. A past vice president of the St. Norbert Pre-Health Club, Koleske is also a peer buddy in Best Buddies. He has also worked as a certified nursing assistant and went on an international medical mission to the Dominican Republic in January 2019.

To be eligible for national or district selection, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.0, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director. The Academic All-America team, scheduled to be announced Dec. 3, is selected after All-District teams are picked from eight geographic regions nationally. All first-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
