Green Knights Post Best NCAA Regional Showing Since 2010

WINNECONNE - St. Norbert College finished in 20th place out of 36 teams at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional hosted by UW-Oshkosh at Lake Breeze Golf Club.
The Green Knights totaled 603 team points for their highest team finish at the NCAA Regional since a 19th-place showing in 2010. North Central College won the team title with 47 points, while UW-La Crosse was second with 89 points. The University of Chicago's Ryan Cutter was the regional champion, covering the 8-kilometer layout in a time of 24 minutes 33 seconds. A total of 252 contestants finished the race.
Joe Gasick was St. Norbert's top performer, placing 84th overall with a time of 26:42. Randy Johnson finished in 98th place in 26:56, while Matt Holloway was 126th in 27:25.
Aaron Mickelson placed 143rd in 27:41, followed by Miles Mulder in 168th place in 28:27. Evan McVittie finished in 187th place with a time of 28:50, with Matthew McKendry in 195th place in 29:11.
