Season-Opening Third-Place Finish for Green Knights at UW-Oshkosh

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College opened the 2020 track and field indoor season with a third-place team finish at the UW-Oshkosh Early Bird Invitational at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights registered 56 points. Host Oshkosh totaled 277 points, while Carroll University was second with 69 points.

Sam Stelloh picked up St. Norbert's lone event first-place finish by claiming the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.37 seconds. Stelloh would add a third-place showing in the 200-meter dash in 23.18 seconds.

Jaxsen Schermacher was third in the pole vault with a height of 14 feet 11 inches. Sam Wahlers was fourth at 13-5 1/4 and Max Schermacher was fifth at 12-11 1/2.

Nic Greenlaw was fourth in the 200-meter dash at 23.21 seconds, followed by Ryan Priebe in fifth at 22.30.

The 4-400-meter relay of Priebe, Gregory Bernasek, Noah Kleiman and Robby Cicciarelli placed fifth with a time of 3:39.31.

Kleiman was fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.93 seconds and added an eighth-place finish in the high jump at 5-8 3/4.

Cicciarelli was fifth in the high jump at 6-0 3/4. Samuel Fletcher finished seventh in the long jump at 20-8.
