Green Knights Open Second Half at Hamline

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Norbert College opened the second half of the regular season with a 7-0 non-conference loss to nationally ranked Hamline University at TRIA Rink.
The Green Knights were outshot 46-12 by the Pipers, who are ranked No. 10 in the USCHO.com NCAA Division III Poll.
Hamline took a 1-0 lead after the first period on a goal by Bre Simon at 18:56. The Pipers gained some breathing room in the second period when Jordan Hansen scored goals at 3:56 and 17:32 sandwiched around a marker by Madison Kolbow at 12:57. Hamline closed out the scoring with three third-period goals, with scoring by Simon at 13:12, Taylor Hawthorne at 16:28 and Taylor Curtis at 18:30.
Anais Aurard made 39 saves for the Green Knights, while Jaela O'Brien made 12 saves for Hamline.
Both teams were 0-for-2 on the power play.
