Pair of Records Tumble Against UW-Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College reset a pair of school records in the Green Knights' 151-65 dual meet loss to NCAA Division I UW-Milwaukee at Klotsche Natatorium.

The Green Knights' Ben Stolberg set a new mark in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing the first leg of the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 55.19 seconds to break his old mark of 55.32 seconds last season. The 400-yard medley relay, which also consisted of Wayne King, Matt Trotter and Killian Riley, also set a new St. Norbert mark with a time of 3:38.19, eclipsing the old mark set earlier this year of 3:42.40.

St. Norbert had five individual second-place finishes. King timed 22.31 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle, while Trotter finished with a time of 2:04.34 in the 200-yard butterfly. Alex Cervantez turned in a time of 51.38 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle, while Riley had a time of 2:21.03 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Stolberg finished the 200-yard backstroke in 2:05.00.

The 400-yard freestyle relay of Jason Hunt, Peadar McGrath, Adam Boerner and Dallas Garza Laurin was second in 3:35.69.

Peter Martin finished third in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:34.48 and in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:09.01. Hunt finished third in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:14.99, while Riley Engelberg was third in the 100-yard freestyle in 55.00 seconds. Jared Ashburn was third in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:17.60, while King was third in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:36.91. Will Bethard was third in 1-meter diving with a score of 122.92 points.
