AUBURNDALE, Fla. - St. Norbert College made the most of its scoring opportunities to post an 8-0 win over Albright College at the Central Florida Invitational.

The Green Knights (5-2) extended their winning streak to four with the win, and face perennial Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference power St. Olaf College in a doubleheader Friday. Albright fell to 6-5.

St. Norbert ground out the win against Albright ace lefthander Tim Flannery, who would strike out 12 hitters in seven innings of work. The Green Knights, who led Division III in stolen bases last year, swiped six in seven tries in the game.

Justin Wotachek outdueled Flannery, spinning a complete-game shutout. Wotachek scattered seven hits with three walks and four strikeouts.

The Green Knights scored four times with two outs in the fourth inning. Tony Jandron and Cory Fuller executed a double steal, and Jandron scored with then catcher's throw to third went awry. Following a Bryan Stoppenbach walk, Kyle Johnsen stroked a triple to drive in two. Brandon Hintz then had an RBI single for a 4-0 lead.

St. Norbert added a run in the sixth inning. Garrick Fisher singled to lead off the inning. After a strikeout, Fisher stole second base. Fisher would move up to third on another misfired catcher's throw and came around to score when the centerfielder misplayed the wild throw.

The Green Knights put the game away with a three-run eighth. Jandron hit an inside-the-park home run. Hintz later had a two-run single to score Chris Hillesheim and Stoppenbach.

St. Norbert had eight hits in the game. Jandron finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored, while Hintz was 2-for-4 with three runs batted in. Fuller finished with three stolen bases.
