St. Norbert Tunes Up for MWC Championship at Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College got its final competition in before the Midwest Conference Championship in two weeks with a 132-95 dual meet loss to Lake Forest College.

The Green Knights had six event winners and four event runner-ups.

Ben Stolberg, Killian Riley, Matt Trotter and Wayne King won the 200-meter medley relay with a time of 1:50.44.

Riley earned wins in the 200-meter freestyle (1:58.33) and the 100-meter freestyle (55.20 seconds). King claimed a pair of first-place finishes in the 50-meter freestyle (24.65 seconds) and the 100-meter breaststroke (1:09.76). Trotter also picked up a win in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:00.47.

Peter Martin was second in the 800-meter freestyle at 9:12.58, while Stolberg was second in the 100-meter backstroke in 1:01.56. The 200-meter freestyle relay of Stolberg, Trotter, Jeffrey Green and Alex Cervantez was second in 1:40.19.

Will Bethard was second in 1-meter diving with a score of 155.30.
