St. Norbert Blanked at Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. - St. Norbert College saw its four-game winning streak snapped in a 4-0 loss to Adrian College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Arrington Ice Arena.
The Green Knights battled the No. 10-ranked Bulldogs to a scoreless first period, but Adrian would get on the board just 59 seconds into the second frame on a goal by Lexi Grunden. The Bulldogs took a two-goal lead after two periods after Jessica VonRuden scored at 14:25.
Adrian pulled away in the third period with a pair of goals, getting scores from Kelly O'Sullivan at 43 seconds and Reaghan Pietrowski at 9:47.
The Bulldogs outshot the Green Knights 53-12. Anais Aurard made 49 saves for the Green Knights, while Denisa Jandova made all 12 stops to get the shutout.
Adrian was 0-for-3 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 0-for-2.
