St. Norbert Tops Lakeland

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College picked up an 8-1 win over Lakeland University in a non-conference match at Western Racquet & Fitness Club.

The Green Knights (2-1) swept the three doubles points. Michael Stanaszak and Luke Andrekus blanked Aaron Smith and Kengo Kanemitsu 8-0 at No. 2 flight. Johnny Zanotti and Andrew Gehring topped Nick Lange and Jacob Larson 8-1 at No. 1, while Jordan Crump and Joe Brown also gained an 8-1 win over Eric Bredlow and Alessandro Bianchi at No. 3.

Crump added a 6-0, 6-0 win over Bredlow at No. 5 singles, while Stanaszak also blanked Bianchi 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6. Andrekus fashioned a 6-0, 6-0 win over Smith at No. 3.

Porter Beilfuss defeated Kanemitsu 6-3, 6-0 at No. 4 singles, while Johnny Zanotti posted a 6-1, 6-1 win over Lange at No. 1.
