Green Knights Blanked in Regular-Season Finale

DE PERE - St. Norbert College dropped the final game of the regular season with a 4-0 loss to Aurora University in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.

Aurora scored a 5-on-3 power-play goal at 6:25 of the first period on a score by Nicole McKernan. Lauren Martel put the Spartans up 2-0 at 17:46 of the second period. Marisa Trevino followed with a power-play goal at 14:13 of the third period, while Briana Carlson added an empty-net goal at 19:37.

St. Norbert was outshot 26-16. Anais Aurard made 22 saves for the Green Knights, while Chiara Pfosi made 16 stops for the Spartans.

Aurora was 2-for-7 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 0-for-3.
