Green Knights' Season Ends in NCHA Playoffs

ADRIAN, Mich. - St. Norbert College saw its season come to a close with a 5-0 loss to Adrian College in the second game of a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Slaats Cup Playoffs Quarterfinal Series at Arrington Ice Arena.

Adrian scored a pair of goals late in the first period when Nicole Guagliardo scored at 17:15 and Brooke Schembri added a power-play marker at 19:06. Reaghan Pietrowski scored the second period's only goal at 3:02, followed by third-period goals from Lindsey Sorrell at 6:57 and Schembri at 12:05.

The Green Knights were outshot by Adrian 48-14. Anais Aurard made 43 saves for St. Norbert, while Denisa Jandova made 14 saves for the Bulldogs.

St. Norbert was 0-for-2 on the power play, while Adrian was 1-for-4.
