FOND DU LAC - St. Norbert College advanced to the championship game of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Playoffs for the 18th time in 19 years with a 2-0 win over Marian University in a semifinal game of the Harris Cup Playoffs at Blue Line Family Ice Center.

The Green Knights (17-9-2) extracted a bit of revenge on the Sabres (18-9-1), who swept St. Norbert in the two-game regular-season series between the teams. St. Norbert will now face Adrian College on Saturday, March 7 in Adrian, Mich., for the Harris Cup championship. It is the sixth consecutive year St. Norbert and Adrian are meeting for the Harris Cup title.

St. Norbert got on the board when Dominick Sacco finished off an odd-man rush when he potted his sixth goal of the season at 11:53 of the first period off assists from Tim Nicksic and Luke Davison. The Green Knights doubled their lead moments later, getting a marker from Brendan Aird at 13:35 with Evan Cholak and Keegan Milligan assisting.

The goals would hold up the rest of the way, including when St. Norbert killed off a 91-second Marian 5-on-3 power play near the end of the second period. Marian would pull goaltender Hunter Vorva for 2 minutes 49 seconds late in the game but the Sabres couldn't draw closer.

Colby Entz fashioned a 26-save shutout for the Green Knights, who outshot the Sabres 29-26. Vorva made 27 saves for Marian.

St. Norbert was 0-for-5 on the power play, while Marian was 0-for-2.
