Green Knights Fall In Heartbreaker At Edgewood

MIDDLETON - St. Norbert College lost a tough 5-4 result to Edgewood College in a non-conference match at Hitters Sportsplex.

The Green Knights picked up one doubles point, with Porter Beilfuss and Jordan Crump beating Bradley Erickson and Conner Dugan 8-5. St. Norbert's other two doubles tandems both fell in 8-7 decisions.

Luke Andrekus defeated Jackson Venske 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3 singles, while Beilfulls beat Erickson 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4. Michael Stanaszak outlasted Dugan at No. 6 singles with a 6-3, 1-6, 10-4 victory.

St. Norbert fell to 2-5 on the season.
