St. Norbert Tumbles at UW-Stout

MENOMONIE - St. Norbert College went scoreless in the second half as the Green Knights fell to UW-Stout in a non-conference match at Nelson Field.

The Blue Devils (2-7) scored a pair of second-half markers to snap a 1-1 tie. Katherine Larson scored her third goal of the season off an assist from Stephanie Gatyas 17 minutes 15 seconds into the match to give the Green Knights (4-4) a 1-0 lead.

Courtney Tideman tied the game for Stout with a header off a corner kick at 39:44. Stout pulled ahead with a goal at 55:25 from Grace Salwasser and a score by Jessica Price at 83:04.

Stout outshot St. Norbert 10-7 and also had a corner kicks advantage by a 3-2 count. Bridget LaVallee made three saves for Stout, while Cara Tazioli did not make a save for St. Norbert.
