Reisner Named CoSIDA Football Academic All-District Selection

DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior offensive lineman Jake Reisner has been named to the College Division Academic All-District V first team of the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America balloting, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Reisner, a senior from Kaukauna and a Fox Valley Lutheran High School graduate, holds a 3.98 grade point average with a major in biomedical science. Reisner has started all nine games on the offensive line this season and has helped the Green Knights rush for 188.2 yards per game. Reisner is a teaching assistant in the St. Norbert biology department.

To be eligible for national or regional selection, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.0, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director. The Academic All-America team is selected after All-District teams are picked from eight geographic regions nationally.

St. Norbert has had 40 Academic All-America selections. St. Norbert has the most Academic All-Americans among Midwest Conference member schools.
