WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - David Schneider earned a complete-game victory in his collegiate debut and Garrick Fisher went 4-for-5 with four runs scored to lead St. Norbert College past the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts 8-4.

The Green Knights improved to 3-2 on their Florida trip with the win, while MCLA dropped to 1-1.

Schneider allowed seven hits with one earned run while walking three with five strikeouts in his first collegiate appearance. Schneider worked around five St. Norbert errors and got a strikeout with the tying run at the plate in the eighth inning to preserve the win.

Fisher provided four of the Green Knights' 13 hits, including two doubles. Fisher started a three-run second with a double, with Ryan Kehl getting an RBI single and Matt Hannon a two-run single.

In the third, Fisher came around to score when the catcher's throw on the back end of a double steal sailed into centerfield. Kehl added an RBI single.

MCLA scored three unearned runs in the fourth. Ryan Way's sacrifice fly scored Fisher in the fifth, and Fisher's bluff steal to home in the seventh allowed him to score on a balk. Jared Yost's RBI single to score Lance Smith in the eighth rounded out the scoring.

Hannon was 3-for-5, while Kehl was 2-for-4. The Green Knights rang up eight stolen bases, including two apiece from Fisher and Ryan Gusick.
