St. Norbert Places Second at Carroll Invitational

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College ended with a second-place finish at the Carroll University Invitational .
The Green Knights totaled 167 points to narrowly finish behind host Carroll's 183 points. St. Norbert easily outdistanced third-place Beloit, which had 133 points.
St. Norbert had several first-place finishes. Emily Schudrowitz won the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.48 seconds, while Danielle Allen claimed the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.36 seconds. Allen also copped the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:09.82.
The Green Knights' 4x100-meter relay team won with a time of 51.36 seconds, while the 4x400-meter relay quartet won with a time of 4:12.65.
Jenny Scherer was second in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:04.30, and she was third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:36.20. Schudrowitz was second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.14. Alaina Nesbitt was second in the 800 with a time of 2:34.38.
In field events, Danielle Krause was second in the pole vault, clearing a height of 10 feet. Lindsay Wiebe was second in the high jump with a leap of 5-1. Katherine Larson was second in the long jump at 15-7 3/4.
Larson was third in the 400 with a time of 1:04.34, while Andrea Bosman was third in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.18. Megan Domnick was third in the 100-meter dash with a sprint of 13.29 seconds.
