St. Norbert Places Third at Wisconsin Private Meet

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College finished in third place at the Wisconsin Private College Meet hosted at Carroll University's Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights totaled 123 points. Carthage College won the meet with 186 points, while Carroll was second with 140 points.

Three thinclads picked up event wins for the Green Knights. Emily Schudrowitz claimed the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4 minutes 51.11 seconds. Amanda Whipple won the 5,000-meter run in 19:12.56, and Linsday Wiebe won the high jump clearing a height of 5 feet, 1 inch.

Jenny Scherer was second in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 39:09.14. Andrea Bosman was the runner-up in the high jump with a height of 4-11.

Two relays placed second. The Green Knights completed the 4x100-meter relay in 50.72 seconds, and the 4x400-meter relay ran a time of 4:06.99.

Bosman placed third in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 16.72 seconds. Megan Domnick was third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.96. In field events, Katherine Larson was third in the long jump at 15-11 and Danielle Krause was third in the pole vault at 9-2 1/4.
