DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior shortstop/pitcher Tony Jandron earned several post-season awards, including two NCAA Division III All-America honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association and D3baseball.com.

Jandron was a second-team selection as a utility player by the ABCA, and was a third-team choice at the same position by D3baseball.com. Jandron was also named the NCAA Division III Central Region Position Player of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Jandron, a Negaunee, Mich., native, becomes just the second baseball player in St. Norbert history to earn All-America honors. Adam Frost was a third-team All-American at shortstop by the ABCA in 2007.

Jandron finished the year hitting .511 with 40 runs scored, 14 doubles, five triples, eight home runs and 50 RBIs. On the mound, Jandron was 6-2 with a 3.64 earned run average, allowing 60 hits, 21 walks and 45 strikeouts in 54 1/3 innings pitched.
