Domro Qualifies for NCAA Outdoor Championship in 1,500-Meter Run

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had one athlete advance to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship held this Thursday to Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium in La Crosse.

Senior Taylor Domro advanced for the second consecutive year in the 1,500-meter run. Domro finished eighth in the event last season to earn All-America status. A total of 22 entries will vie for the national championship in the event. It is Domro's fifth overall NCAA championship appearance, also advancing in cross country in 2016 and 2017 and in indoor track and field in 2017.

Domro holds the No. 13 seeding in the 1,500-meter run at 4:32.29. The 1,500-meter run preliminary heats will run at 2:45 p.m. Thursday with the championship at 12:35 p.m. Saturday.
