Green Knights Win Best Ball at Butler National

OAK BROOK, Ill. - St. Norbert College closed out the fall portion of its 2019-20 schedule by topping Luther College 2-1 in a best-ball format.

Luther won the top pairing of Ben Phipps and Brandon Dorans, with the pair shooting a 75 and 96, respectively. They topped the St. Norbert duo of Jack Markham and Jack Lund, who shot respective scores of 79 and 82.

St. Norbert's Cole Hanke and Jon Cone won the next grouping, finishing with scores of 83 and 91. They topped the Norse's Carson Hagen and Matias Parada, who scored 90 and 98. The Green Knights also got a win from Michael Schneider and Phil Heidkamp, who each shot a 95. They beat Luther's Adam Suelflow and Eric Smedsrud, who finished with a 106 and 113, respectively.

Alan Albrecht finished with a 79 competing as an individual for the Green Knights.
