The Center for Community Service and Learning works to help St. Norbert College and its students be full partners with the Brown County community in the work to promote the Common Good. This website is filled with resources, ideas and opportunities to make that happen. Just click on the link below that fits you, or contact us to see how we can help you become “great,” for as Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve.
The Center for Community Service and Learning is currently accepting applications for the following student staff positions with the TRIPS program:
- TRIPS Leader Trainer
- TRIPS Program Assistant
- TRIPS Community Partner Coordinator
Interested students are encouraged to read the job descriptions and submit an application. The application deadline is February 17th.
Collaborate on an Innovative Art Project, "The Tools of My Trade" :
What to Do:
1) Choose an item that symbolizes your past service, personal giftedness, or the work that you do in the world (book, photo, ect.).
2) Write a short explanation including: your name, a description of the object, and why you chose it.
3) Bring these two items to: The Peace and Justice Center or The Center for Community Service and Learning by February 8th.
Fr. Jim will assemble the collection which will be showcased in the Michels Commons’ display case. *Your item will be returned.

Nominate a Deserving Individual/Group for the WPS Volunteer Awards!
By nominating an individual or group for one of the WPS Volunteer Awards you will be:
- Recognizing the contributions of volunteers you know
- Honoring the impact that a person or a group is having on the Brown County Community
- Increasing awareness about the organization the volunteers are passionate about
