Norbertine Leadership & Service Awards
The Norbertine Leadership and Service Awards program celebrates lives lived in service to the common good through the awards below. Award recipients in all categories are selected by committees made up of staff, faculty and students. The whole process culminates at the awards ceremony in April.
Exemplary Leadership Award
The Exemplary Leadership Award honors students who have made outstanding contributions to meaningful change on campus, locally, nationally or beyond. Nominations for the Exemplary Leadership Award may be submitted by faculty, staff or fellow students.
Awards of Distinction
Awards of Distinction will recognize students’ contributions during their entire time at St. Norbert College. The Awards of Distinction require an application that includes a list of involvements and accomplishments and two short answer questions.
Beloved Community Social Justice Award
One student and one staff member will each be recognized annually with the Beloved Community Social Justice Award. Nominations for the Beloved Community Social Justice Award may be submitted by faculty, staff or students. Award recipients will receive a certificate and a donation to charity of recipient’s choice
The Internship Awards
Sponsored by the Office of Career & Professional Development, the Internship Awards recognize two outstanding student interns and one outstanding internship site each year.
Educator of the Year Awards
All campus employees are eligible for the Educator of the Year Award. Nominees should be a faculty or staff member who actively contributes to the college community beyond the call of duty in order to inspire and empower students.
Student Organization Awards
Each year we recognize the outstanding contributions of our student organizations. While some awards seek nominations, others are determined by reports submitted to Leadership, Student Engagement and First Year Experience.
