The Norbertine Leadership and Service Awards recognize selfless devotion to improving St. Norbert College and the greater community; to going above and beyond in appreciating human differences; to establishing connections between students, faculty, and staff; and living the college mission.

Norbertine Leadership & Service Awards

The Norbertine Leadership and Service Awards program celebrates lives lived in service to the common good. Award recipients are selected by committees made up of staff, faculty and students. The whole process culminates at the awards ceremony in April.

Exemplary Leadership Award
This award honors several students from each class who have made outstanding contributions to meaningful change on campus, locally, nationally or beyond. Nominations for the Exemplary Leadership Award may be submitted by faculty, staff or fellow students.

Awards of Distinction
These scholarships and cash awards require an application that includes a cover letter, resume and list of involvements at SNC. Some scholarships require an additional essay. Guidelines and eligibility criteria are listed on the Award Descriptions page.

Beloved Community Social Justice Award
One student and one staff member will each be recognized annually with the Beloved Community Social Justice Award. Nominations for the Beloved Community Social Justice Award may be submitted by faculty, staff or students. Award recipients will receive a certificate and a donation to charity of recipient’s choice

Educator of the Year Awards
All campus employees are eligible for the Educator of the Year Award. Nominees should be a faculty or staff member who actively contributes to the college community beyond the call of duty in order to inspire and empower students.

Student Organization Awards
Each year we recognize the outstanding contributions of our student organizations. While some awards seek nominations, others are determined by reports submitted to Leadership, Student Engagement and First Year Experience.
