Joe Dyal

Instruction and Academic Engagement Librarian

Joe Dyal serves as the Instruction and Academic Engagement Librarian for St. Norbert College. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the library’s research assistance and information literacy initiatives. This includes developing library resources, facilitating student learning, and offering related instruction to undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty.

Joe joined the Mulva Library team in February 2019 as a research specialist and previously served as the archives assistant for the Cofrin Library at University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. Prior to this, Joe worked in website development and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Outside of the library, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and friends, grilling and crafting pizza, listening to a variety of music, reading a range of books, watching movies and TV shows, playing board games and pinball, and drinking good beer over good conversation.
