St. Norbert College presents "Women's Enrichment Series"

St. Norbert College will host a new series of presentations called the Women's Enrichment Series, which will run from Jan. 30 to June 17.

The Women's Enrichment Series will feature monthly lunches and speakers on topics of interest in the Hendrickson Dining Room of the F.K. Bemis International Center at St. Norbert College running from 12-1:30 p.m. The final event of the series will be hosted at the residence of College President Thomas Kunkel.

Kunkel's wife, Deb, and Professor Emeritus Maureen Manion will host the series, which consists of the following presentations:

Friday, Jan 30, Fr. Jim Neilson, O.Praem presents "Art and the Christian Imagination"
Thursday, Feb. 19, John Pennington presents "Frauds on the Fairies? Feminism and Fairytales"
Thursday, March 26, Bridget Krage O'Connor presents "Achieving Your Dreams: Using Visualization as a Path to Identifying and Reaching Your Goals"
Friday, April 24, Brad Ellis presents "Muslim and Morisco Women in Spain in the 16th and 17th Centuries"

Friday, May 22, Maureen Manion presents "The Obama Administration: the First 100 Days"

Wednesday, June 17, Deb Kunkel will host a tea and entertainment social at the presidential residence from 3-5 p.m.

The cost of each individual session, which includes lunch, is $15. The entire series can be purchased for $80.
