Children's performer Randy Peterson will be playing at the "Knights on the Fox" summer concert series on Tuesday, July 21. Bridget Krage O'Connor, vice president of enrollment management and communications, will serve as the evening's masters of ceremonies. The concert, held in the heart of the St. Norbert College campus, is free and open to the public.
Peterson has been a regular in children's music and entertainment for more than twenty years. Families and children of all ages will enjoy his energetic and engaging sing-a-longs and clap-a-longs of his own music. Many of his songs are written about the positive values of friendship, caring and acceptance.
"Knights on the Fox" features live music in a casual atmosphere along the banks of the Fox River. Carry in your own picnic--or concessions, food and beverages available for purchase on site. New for 2009, Phil's, located in the Campus Center, will be open for business, offering a variety of grill and deli items. The picnics begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the concerts from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Concerts will be canceled in the event of rain. Check our web site or call for updates on the status of the performance.
Come by land or by water, as the docks at the Thompson Marina will be open. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and join us for another summer of great music and fun! Ample parking is available in the lots at Third Street and College Avenue, with handicapped parking in the lot near Old St. Joseph Church. Follow the signs to find your way to the parking lots. For more information, contact the Office of Communications at (920) 403-4011 or visit http://www.snc.edu/go/knightsonthefox.
