Erik Wm. Suter, concert organist; John Bruce Organ Concert Series at St. Norbert Abbey church

Internationally known concert organist, Erik Wm. Suter, will perform at St. Norbert Abbey church, 1016 N. Broadway De Pere, Saturday, Jan. 15 at 2 p.m.as part of the John Bruce Organ Concert Series. The concert is open to the public and suggested admission is $5, payable at the door. Suter, organist and associate choirmaster at Washington National Cathedral, teaches organ at American University and maintains an active solo recital schedule. He has performed extensively in the United States and Canada in addition to appearing in Japan, Scandinavia, England and the Iberian Peninsula. As a continuo artist, Suter has appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra and National Symphony Orchestra. He has won many national and international competitions, including receiving the Gold Medal of the Mayor of Musashino/Tokyo in the International Organ Competition in Japan.
