Tychinski Trombone Recital at St. Norbert College

The St. Norbert College Music Department will present a trombone concert by former faculty member Bruce Tychinski on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in St. Norbert College's Walter Theatre. Elaine Moss, adjunct instructor of music and piano accompanist, will join him. The concert is free and open to the public.

Tychinski is assistant professor of trombone at the University of Southern Mississippi. He taught at St. Norbert College for five years.

Currently, Tychinski is the principal trombonist of the Gulf Coast Symphony, a member of the Southern Arts Brass Quintet, and performs in the Nittany Trombone Quartet. He holds a bachelor and master of music in trombone performance from Penn State University and a doctor of musical arts in trombone performance from the University of Kansas.
