Mark Murphy and Betsy Mitchell to speak on "Championship Planning for the Packers"

The Green Bay Packers' Mark Murphy, president and CEO, and Betsy Mitchell, vice president of organizational/staff development, will present "Championship Planning for the Packers" on Wednesday, March 10, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Riverview Country Club in Appleton, Wis. The presentation is part of St. Norbert College's CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series.

This is the 13th year that St. Norbert College has hosted the CEO breakfast series. Murphy and Mitchell's presentation is sponsored by Performa Inc. Grant Thornton LLP and Insight Publications are sponsors of the entire series.

Murphy is in his second year as the Packers' president and CEO. Murphy holds both a law degree and an MBA in finance, and spent eight years playing for the NFL's Washington Redskins. He later served as athletic director of both Colgate University and Northwestern University, was Executive director of the NFL Players Association, and served as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice

Betsy Mitchell has spent 17 years with the Packers organization, and was appointed to her current position by Murphy in 2008. She holds a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is responsible for employee relations, leadership development, community outreach and human resources for the Packers. Mitchell serves on the boards of numerous community organizations.
