The American Cancer Society will present the Relay For Life of De Pere from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 27 in the Sports Center, St. Norbert College, Third Street and Marsh Street in De Pere.

Throughout the day there will be music, food, and activities -- including a Kids Korner, silent auction, Dude Looks Like a Lady contest, music by Alex from Beautiful Music DJ, LLC, and massages for relay participants. A Balluminary Ceremony and Survivor Lap will occur at noon.

At Relay For Life of De Pere, teams of 8-15 people gather at the Sports Center and take turns walking or running around the track. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. "We all come to Relay For Life for similar reasons -- whether we have lost loved ones to cancer or personally battled the disease. The relay is an opportunity to fight back against cancer, and the money raised will provide funding for research, education, prevention and support," said Karla Miller, volunteer chair of Relay for Life of De Pere.
