Fresh Ink student composition concert at St. Norbert College

Four music department undergraduate students at St. Norbert College will present the Fresh Ink Concert on Tuesday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Webb Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.

Brad Scatterday, Jeff Dahlke, Mike Maher, and Kevin McGillivray will present their original compositions at the Fresh Ink Concert.

Scatterday, a sophomore from Aurora, Ill., will perform his composition for piano, entitled "Those Not Forgotten," which was written in memory of his grandfather.

Dahlke, a freshman from Denmark, Wis., will perform his work "Travieso" on the piano, with Kim Kessler, of Saint Charles, Ill., accompanying him on flute.

Maher, a senior from Wausau, Wis., will be conducting his jazz-influenced piece "Octopus," which will be played by the Wind Ensemble.

McGillivray, a sophomore from Green Bay, Wis., will be performing his original composition for two vocalists with piano accompaniment, entitled "Synecdoche."
