Weeklong Inter-Residential Olympics at St. Norbert College

The St. Norbert College Department of Residential Education and Housing will hold the college's first Inter-Residential Olympics from Sunday, April 25 through Saturday, May 1 on campus.

The Inter-Residential Olympics is a weeklong competition in which students from the college's 11 residence halls will field teams in a variety of events. The mission of the games is to contribute to the development and celebration of school spirit, community, mutual respect, healthy lifestyles, leadership and excellence. The winners of each event will receive medallions sponsored by the college's residential hall association.

The schedule for the Inter-Residential Olympics is as follows:

Sunday, April 25: Opening Ceremonies on Main Hall's Front Lawn at 8:30 p.m.

Monday, April 26: Floor Hockey in the Pennings Activity Center from 6-10 p.m.; Tug-of-War on the Campus Center Green from 5-6 p.m.

Tuesday, April 27: Racquetball in the Schuldes Sports Center from 6-10 p.m.; Badminton in the Schuldes Sports Center from 6-10 p.m.; Basketball (3 on 3) in the Pennings Activity Center from 6-10 p.m.

Wednesday, April 28: 400 M Sprint and 1600 M Run in the Schuldes Sports Center from 8-9 p.m.; Table Tennis, TBA, 6-10 p.m.

Thursday, April 29: Relay Run on the Campus Center Green (Base Location) from 5-6 p.m.; Ultimate Frisbee on the Campus Center Green from 5-8 p.m.

Friday, April 30: Soccer on the Campus Center Green from 4-8 p.m.; Flag Football on the Campus Center Green, 4-8 p.m.

Saturday, May 1: Cycling on the Campus Center Green (Base Location) from 11-11:30 a.m.; Dodgeball in the Campus Center Gym, 12--2 p.m.; Volleyball in the Campus Center Gym, 12--3 p.m.; Closing Ceremony on the Main Hall Front Lawn, 8 p.m.; Dance in the Union Lounge, 9 p.m.--1 a.m.
