David Kohler to speak on leadership at St. Norbert College CEO Breakfast

David Kohler, president and chief operating officer of Kohler Company, will present "Leading in Turbulent Times" as part of St. Norbert College's CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series, on Wednesday, May 5, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Riverview Country Club in Appleton, Wis.This session is sponsored by New North.

Kohler is the eighth individual to serve as the Kohler Company's president since its founding in 1873; he was named COO in 2009. He sits on the company's board of directors, and oversees three of Kohler Co.'s four worldwide businesses -- Kitchen & Bath Group, Global Power Group, and Interiors Group -- as well as the Corporate Technical Services operations. In 2006, "Builder Magazine" recognized him as one of the most influential people in the U.S. homebuilding industry.
Kohler joined the company's executive management team in 1993; prior to that, he held management positions with Dayton Hudson Company.

He received his bachelor's degree in political science from Duke University and his master's degree in management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

This is the 13th year that St. Norbert College has hosted the CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series for area business professionals. The entire series is sponsored by Grant Thornton LLP and Insight Publications.
