St. Norbert College Language Services will be offering two new non-credit Spanish courses this summer. One is an online course for teachers, created by Spanish instructor Rachel Tease. The other is a Spanish conversation practice course for students taught by Crystal Dory from Notre Dame Academy and Sally Riner from Green Bay West High School.

The online course is meant for teachers and school administrators looking to connect with the diverse learners in their classroom. It is designed to teach words and phrases specific to the classroom and school environment. This class allows teachers to satisfy Department of Public Instruction teacher standards 3,6,9, and 10 while working on their Professional Development Plans.

The class runs from June 21 to Sept. 6 and is $300 which includes online instruction; live chats; a Spanish to English glossary; "Adelante Uno" textbook and Supersite pass code including interactive flash cards, games fotonovellas and pronunciation practice; and a "Spanish for Educators" text book. Registration deadline is June 14.

The Spanish conversation class is being offered for beginner to intermediate Spanish students. The non-credit class will allow students to practice their pronunciation skills over the summer. Two sessions will be held, the first will be from June 8 till July 6 and the second from July 7 to Aug. 5. Both will be offered from 6 p.m.-- 8 p.m. The sessions will cost $95. Registration deadline is June 1.
