Dargan Fellow for 2010-11 announced by St. Norbert College

De Pere, Wis. Wayne P. Lubner '71, chair of the Dargan Fellowship committee at St. Norbert College, announced that Derek P. Harrington, a sophomore computer science major/business administration and economics double minor from Kingsford, Mich., has been selected as the college's Dargan Fellow for the 2010-11 academic year. Harrington will receive a $5,000 award from the William E. Dargan Fellowship, which was created by St. Norbert College alumni to honor the late professor and his 30 years of service to the college.
Harrington is the number one singles player on St. Norbert College's varsity men's tennis team. He is also a member of the wakeboard team, St. Norbert College Republicans, student-athlete advisory committee and PRIDE scholarship organization. Harrington is a National Honor Society member and maintains a 3.88 grade point average.
