Army ROTC Cadets commissioned as officers at St. Norbert College

The following St. Norbert College students will be commissioned as second lieutenants in the United States Army during ceremonies to be held in the Fort Howard Theater, Bemis International Center, Saturday, May 15 at 4 p.m.

Jarod Huebner of De Pere, Wis.,will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army active duty as an artillery officer. He will serve as a platoon tactical officer at Fort Lewis, Wash., this summer before attending his Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Sill, Okla.

Kevin Kaczmarek of Stevens Point, Wis., will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army active duty as an artillery officer. He will attend his Basic Officer Leaders Course this summer at Fort Sill, Okla.

Justin Pierce of Rice Lake, Wis., will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as an engineer officer. Upon successful completion of his Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., he will be assigned as a platoon leader for the 273rd Sapper Company, Medford, Wis.

Nathan Raith of Summit Lake, Wis., will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army active duty as an armor officer. Upon successful completion of the Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Knox, Ky., he will be assigned as a platoon leader in the 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.

Eric Van Hout of Appleton, Wis., will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as an infantry officer. Upon successful completion of his Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Benning, Ga., he will be assigned as the executive officer of B Company, 2-127 Infantry Battalion in Green Bay.

Christopher Zaczyk of Tinley Park, Ill., will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army active duty as an armor officer. Upon successful completion of the Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Knox, Ky., he will be assigned as a platoon leader in the 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, TX.
