The St. Norbert College Music Theatre's production of "Forever Plaid" will open an extensive summer season with four performances, June 9 to 12, to be followed by three evening performances of "Nunsense" June 16, 17 and 18, and a matinee June 20. Throughout the remainder of the month, there will be five additional performances of each musical: "Forever Plaid" on June 21, 22, 25, 27 (matinee) and 30, and "Nunsense" on June 23, 24, 28, 29 and July 1.

"Forever Plaid" tells the story of The Plaids, a classic '50's all-male quartet who return from the Great Beyond for one last chance at the big time. The music theatre quartet consists of Tim Olejniczak (Green Bay) as Frankie, Jim Prast (Green Bay) as Smudge, Chad Lemerande (Green Bay) as Sparky and Joe Kiedinger (De Pere) as Jinx. The production is directed and choreographed by Alicia Birder with music director Kent Paulsen accompanying at the piano.

"Nunsense" follows five Little Sisters of Hoboken, as they stage a variety show to raise desperately needed funds for their convent. Wildly successful, "Nunsense" became the second-longest running off-Broadway show in history.

Tickets for both musicals, as well as Music Theatre's July production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," are now available at the St. Norbert College ticket office, 920-403-3950 or online at tickets.snc.edu. For show times, consult www.snc.edu/performing arts/.
