St. Norbert College to offer adult non-credit language courses

St. Norbert College is offering non-credit language courses for adults beginning in September. Weekly courses include Arabic, Chinese, Czech, French, German, Hmong culture, Italian, Oneida, Polish, Russian and Spanish starting Sept. 13.

Courses available are Arabic 1, 6-7:30 p.m. on Mondays; Czech 6, 5:30-7 p.m. on Mondays; Polish 5, 7-8:30 p.m. on Mondays; Spanish 1, 6-7:30 p.m. on Mondays; Hmong Culture, 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays; Italian 1, 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays; Italian 2, 7:15-8:45 pm. on Tuesdays; Oneida, 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays; Russian 1, 7:15-8:45 p.m. on Tuesdays; Russian 2, 5:30-7 p.m. on Tuesdays; Spanish 1, 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays; Chinese 1, 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays; Chinese 2, 7:45-9:15 p.m. on Wednesdays; German 1, 5:15-6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays (beginning Sept. 22); German 2, 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays (beginning Sept. 22); Advanced Spanish, 5:30-7 p.m. on Wednesdays; French 1, 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursdays; Spanish 3, 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursdays; French 4, 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursdays; and Polish 1, 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

All classes start the week of Sept. 13 and run through the week of Nov. 13 unless otherwise noted. The cost is $140 per course, plus an additional fee for text and materials. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, Sept. 7. Class size is limited to 15 students.
