St. Norbert College to host Farrell Forum on Economics: "The New Frugality: Why This Time is Different"

St. Norbert College will host Chris Farrell's Forum on Economics, "The New Frugality: Why This Time Is Different," Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Fort Howard Theater, F.K. Bemis International Center on the St. Norbert College campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Farrell will speak about his latest book, "The New Frugality: How to Consume Less, Save More and Live Better, " which emphasizes changing the way we live to make the most of what we have and promoting moderation for individual financial health.

Farrell is the economics editor for Marketplace Money, American Public Media's nationally syndicated personal finance program on public radio. An award-winning journalist, Farrell is a regular contributor to Marketplace Morning Report and is the chief economics correspondent for American Public Media's documentary unit, American Radio Works, as well as Minnesota Public Radio. In addition, Farrell regularly writes for Bloomberg Business Week and the Star Tribune.
