St. Norbert College celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

St. Norbert College will host a series of events celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month starting Sept. 15 through Oct. 5, 2010. All events will take place on the St. Norbert College Campus.

Events will include:

Kick Off event with Carne Asada and Pinata
Wednesday, Sept. 15, 5 p.m.
Campus Center Patio

Nicaraguan Folkloric Dance Ensemble
Tuesday, Sept. 21, noon-1 p.m.
Campus Center Lounge

"Dying to Live: A Migrants Journey" Immigration Film and Dream act discussion
Sept. 21, 6:30 p.m.
Fort Howard Theater

Native People of Peru, Presentation by Dr. Sabine Hyland
Tuesday, Sept. 28, 6:30 p.m.
Fort Howard Theater

Fiesta: A Celebration of Hispanic/Latino Culture
Saturday, Oct. 2, 6 p.m.
Sensenbrenner Memorial Union Lounge
Keynote Speaker: Antonio Saldana, Traditional Food, entertainment

The Miller Lecture, "Diversity, Community and The Margins of American Society," by Rick Nahmias
Tuesday, Oct. 5, 6:30 p.m.
