St. Norbert College presents the "Women's Enrichment Series"

St. Norbert College will once again host the Women's Enrichment Series, a series of lunch presentations featuring St. Norbert College faculty and staff speakers on topics of interest. The series will run from October 1, 2010 through June 10, 2011.

All of the luncheon sessions are held in the Hendrickson Dining Room of the F. K. Bemis International Center at St. Norbert College. The luncheon events are scheduled from noon-1:30 p.m. Two separate, off-campus events are also offered.

The series consists of the following presentations and events:

Friday, Oct. 1, Ken Zahorski presents "Enriching Your Life Through Poetry."

Thursday, Oct. 28, Joy Pahl presents "Plugging into our Global Economy"

Friday, Nov. 19, wine tasting with Wolfgang Grassl.

Friday, Dec. 3, off-campus shopping trip to Chicago's Magnificent Mile. Bus leaves campus at 6:30 a.m. and arrives back approximately at 10 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 28, Mark Bockenhauer presents "Geography and Its Effect on Today's World"

Thursday, Feb. 17, Bridget Burke Ravizza presents "Naming her Matters: God Talk from a Feminist Theological Perspective"

Thursday, March 31, Sabine Hyland presents "Legendary Peru, Land of the Incas"

Thursday, April 21, Michael Marsden presents "The Automobile and American Culture"

Thursday, May 5, Robert Pyne presents "The Face of Peacebuilding in the 21st Century"

Friday, June 10, guided tour of the Milwaukee Art Museum with Fr. James Neilson. Bus leaves campus at 8 a.m. and returns at 6 p.m.

The cost for individual sessions, which includes lunch, is $18. The entire series can be purchased for $135. In addition, the cost for the Chicago shopping trip and the Milwaukee Art Museum trip are $50 each. With limited space for the events, early reservations are encouraged.
