St. Norbert College Zambia Project is organizing its annual "Parents' Night Out"
Saturday, Oct. 2 from 5-11:30 p.m. Babysitting will be provided for children of
St. Norbert College faculty and staff and for parishioners of Old St. Joe's Parish.
Parents will be able to enjoy the evening while childcare will be provided by St.
Norbert College students. All babysitters have had background checks and are
generally education majors. The annual event is part of the fundraising efforts
for the Zambia Project, a student service organization that organizes fundraising
activities to support the Zambia Open Community Schools (ZOCS.) ZOCS
provide basic education to children whose families cannot afford the
government's school fees.
The cost is $30 for the first child. $20 for the second child. $15 for each
additional child. Parents can drop their children off at the Schuldes Sports
Center Gym on the day of the event.
