St. Norbert College to offer half-day culture workshops

St. Norbert College will offer non-credit culture and language workshops for adults beginning April 2011. The Flying Start Workshops, offered on Saturdays, will give those who are traveling abroad a taste of the language and customs of specific countries.

The workshops are scheduled as follows:

Italy: April 16, 9 a.m.-noon
Registration deadline: April 8

France: April 16, 1-4 p.m.
Registration deadline: April 8

Germany: June 18, 9 a.m.-noon
Registration deadline: June 10

Poland: June 18, 1-4 p.m.
Registration Deadline June 10

China: July 16, 9 a.m.-noon
Registration deadline: July 8

The Middle East: August 13, 9 a.m.-noon
Registration deadline: Aug. 5

Brazil: Oct. 15, 9 a.m.-noon
Registration deadline: Oct. 7

Greece: Oct. 15,1-4 p.m.
Registration deadline: Oct. 7

Latin America: Nov. 5, 9 a.m.-noon
Registration deadline: Oct. 28

Workshops are $30 per session or $50 for two. Class size is limited to 15 students.
