The St. Norbert College Continuing Education Institute is launching a new "Communication for Success Series" in partnership with Development Dimensions International (DDI). These professional development courses are geared for management, front line personnel, and emerging leaders.

There are three courses in the communication series that begin on Thursday, April 21, and run through Thursday, June 23. Matthew Doyle, a certified instructor through DDI and Continuing Education Instructor at St. Norbert College, will facilitate these interaction management courses. DDI is an industry leader and provides training for more than 400 of the Fortune 500. For more information about DDI, reference their website at www.ddiworld.com.

Courses to be offered include:

Thursday, April 21, "Communicating With Impact"
This course is a prerequisite for the following two courses and provides individuals with a powerful set of interaction skills that enables them to communicate more effectively with colleagues and customers and, in the process, build trust, strengthen partnerships, and achieve desired results.

Thursday, May 19, "Building Trust"
Broken promises, failed teams, stalled initiatives, and sagging morale. These are just some of the destructive consequences when a workplace lacks trust. Trust is the responsibility of each individual-no exceptions. This course gives you hands-on, proven strategies for building trust in the workplace.

Thursday, June 23, "Navigating Beyond Conflict"
The last course focuses on how to recognize the warning signs of conflict and take action to prevent situations from escalating or to work out the conflict if it does escalate. This allows individuals to mitigate any negative impact, thus reducing the cost of conflict and improving business results.

Each session costs $149 and requires pre-registration. Courses will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the F.K. Bemis International Conference Center on the St. Norbert College Campus. The registration fee includes workbook, course materials and refreshment breaks. Special group pricing is available for seven or more participants.

To register, or for more information, please visit the Continuing Education Institute website at http://www.snc.edu/continuinged. You can also call (920) 403-3100 or e-mail continuinged@snc.edu.
