Cassel and Scatterday Junior Recital at St. Norbert College

The St. Norbert College music department will present the junior vocal recital of tenor Doug Cassel and the junior trumpet recital of Brad Scatterday on Friday, March 25 at 5 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. Admission is free and open to the public,

Cassel, from Abrams, Wis., is a student of Yi-Lan Niu, assistant professor of music. He will be performing works by Steffani, d'Astorga, Franz, Brahms, Ferrar, Gaure, Wright and Forrest, and Morricone. He will be accompanied by Rebekah Knitt, from Pardeeville, Wis. Scatterday, from Aurora, Ill., is a student of Linda Cook, assistant professor of music. He will perform works by Hindemith, Thome, Llewllyn, and Telemann. Scatterday will be accompanied by Elaine Moss, adjunct instructor of music. Cassel and Scatterday will finish their performance with a duet by Arnold.
