St. Norbert College alumna, Karen Kalter Cook '69, to display artwork

Karen Kalter Cook, a 1969 graduate of St. Norbert College, will display her artwork at the Bush Art Center's Godschalx Gallery from April 15 to May 15. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., when classes are in session. A special reception for Cook will be held Friday, April 29, from 5-7:30 p.m.
Cook's paintings have received numerous awards, including first place at the "quick paint" of the 2007 Plein Air Festival at the Peninsula School of Art. They have also appeared at the Miller Museum and Jack Richeson shows. Most recently, Cook participated in the China Unveils show at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Karen currently lives in Sister Bay, Wis., and is represented by Edgewood Orchard Galleries in Fish Creek, WI. She is also an associate member of Oil Painters of America.
