The National Geographic Asia map will be visiting St. Norbert College on Tuesday, April 19, in the Ray Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center gym from 8 a.m to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

This is the largest map of Asia in the world, measuring 26 feet by 33 feet. The map is designed as a giant board game that teaches students about the physical characteristics of the continent as well as its rich history and culture.
Several classes at St. Norbert College will experience the giant map throughout the day and accompanying lessons using Google Earth on the iPad as well as the Smart Board will take place.

To view the map, go to http://events.nationalgeographic.com/events/special-events/giant-traveling-maps/.

For more information on the event, contact Mike Counter at (920) 403-3089, or mike.counter@snc.edu.
