St. Norbert College nationally ranked in the top ten schools for community service trips

The St. Norbert College TRIPS program is ranked fifth in the Break Away organization's 2011 Chapter Survey among schools with the highest student participation in service trips. This year, 7.9% of St. Norbert College students participated in service trips.

The Break Away organization honors colleges and universities who prioritize service programs and trips. Its mission is to train, assist and connect campuses and communities in promoting quality alternative break programs that inspire lifelong active citizenship.

The St. Norbert College TRIPS (Turning Responsibility Into Powerful Service) program is an alternative break service program that gives students the opportunity to put into action their values, convictions and religious beliefs through service.
Other schools joining St. Norbert in the top ten are Bowdoin College, Vanderbilt University and the College of William and Mary.
